Warranty / Terms & Conditions

  • Please read the following Repair Terms and Conditions carefully before using our service.

  • Devices submitted to iCanFixIt for repair come with a 6-month warranty, starting from the date the repair is completed.

  • In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation, iCanFixIt offers the following warranty against defects:

  • All warranty claims are subject to approval by our technicians. If you're not satisfied with the outcome of your claim, please contact us at repair@icanfixit.com.au.

  • The warranty is void and does not cover the following:

  • Physical or liquid damage, whether accidental, intentional, or due to general wear and tear.

  • Apple device notifications such as “Unknown Part” or “Display/Battery could not be verified,” which may appear after repairs using Aftermarket or OEM parts.

  • Repairs or servicing by third parties not affiliated with iCanFixIt.

  • Issues unrelated to the original repair, including undiagnosed problems such as software bugs, hardware faults, motherboard damage, or liquid exposure.

  • Loss of data resulting from the repair process. We recommend backing up your device before submitting it for service.

  • Repairs using parts supplied by the customer that were not purchased through iCanFixIt.

  • Please note that opening a device may compromise its original waterproof seal. iCanFixIt does not guarantee waterproofing after repair and is not liable for any liquid damage due to a broken seal.

  • Assessment Fee

  • A non-refundable $59 assessment fee applies to all repair jobs. This fee is credited toward the total cost of the repair if the quote is approved.

  • If a repair is not approved or the device is considered Beyond Economical Repair (BER), the $59 assessment fee will be deducted from any refund provided.

  • Uncollected Devices

  • Devices not collected within 90 days of repair completion will be recycled or disposed of in accordance with Uncollected Goods legislation.

  • Refunds

  • If a refund is approved, any parts installed by iCanFixIt remain our property and must be returned before the refund can be processed.
